The subcommittee is overseeing the analysis of the effectiveness of existing financing tools in Washington, including Value Capture Financing, in encouraging affordable housing in transit station areas and reviewing local infrastructure funding programs in other states. The subcommittee – including stakeholders from around the region and state – is considering devising a new tool and developing draft legislation. PSRC is supporting the effort with a Value Capture Financing report to be completed in Summer 2012.
