PSRC Seeking Comment on Updates to Job Access Reverse Commute and New Freedom Program Management PlansSEATTLE The Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) Transportation Policy Board has released the Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) and New Freedom Program Management Plans (PMPs) for public review and comment. The PMPs document PSRC and Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) planning and administrative practices for the biennial PSRC JARC and New Freedom Competitive Selection Program and subsequent grant management activities. Currently, the process is scheduled to kick-off in mid-summer. Projects selected for JARC and New Freedom funding play important roles in the mobility of special needs populations and the coordination of special needs transportation services. Written comments will be accepted until April 29 and included in the agenda packet for the Transportation Policy Board meeting on May 8, when it finalizes a recommendation to the Executive Board. Comments can be made in person at Transportation Policy Board meeting on May 8, as well as the Executive Board meeting on May 22, when the Program Management Plans are scheduled for final Board approval.
