Pricing Task Force
The Transportation Policy Board (TPB) established the Pricing Task Force (PTF) in September 2007 to recognize that roadway pricing will be a part of our transportation future. The PTF will make a recommendation to the Destination 2030 Working Group on a comprehensive set of roadway pricing strategies that should be included in the 2010 Destination 2030 Update. Because of the statewide significance of this element of the plan, the PTF may, at its discretion, include non-policy board members to help integrate this effort with other road pricing programs and decision processes. The PTF will work with other agencies, the public and outside interests to pose the policy questions/issues that need to be addressed about roadway pricing. The PTF will provide a central location where information can be obtained on the tolling analysis being conducted in the central Puget Sound region.
