Special Needs Transportation Committee
The Special Needs Transportation Committee advises the Transportation Operators Committee on special needs transportation and transit. It provides guidance and oversight during updates to the Coordinated Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan, the regional strategy for the coordination of special needs transportation services.

In addition, the Committee provides funding recommendations for two competitions. The Committee creates a prioritized project list of all special needs transportation projects seeking funding through the WSDOT Consolidated Grant Program and provides a recommendation for projects to receive Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) and New Freedom funding through the Seattle-Tacoma-Everett Urbanized Area.

The Committee meets the third Wednesday of every other month at Sound Transit.
