Performance First is a program designed to help companies in our region’s leading industry clusters improve their ability to successfully do business with minority-owned suppliers by institutionalizing supplier diversity best practices into their contracting systems.

A hallmark of the strategy is finding ways that companies in the region’s leading industry clusters can improve their ability to successfully do business with minority-owned suppliers. An outcome of the Prosperity Partnership’s Minority-Owned Business Development Strategy, the Performance First program graduated its first class in July 2010.
