Current Programs

Washington Aerospace Manufacturing Community

In May 2014, the US Department of Commerce designated Washington’s aerospace industry as one of 12 Manufacturing Communities nationwide, which means partners can get preferential status for $1.3 billion in federal grants.

International Benchmarking

A global network of innovative knowledge regions that compare efforts and learn from each other on issues of common interest.

Past Programs

Washington Aerospace Partnership

A coalition of business, labor and local government leaders working to sustain and grow aerospace industry jobs in Washington.

Washington Military Alliance

A group of military and defense related stakeholder organizations who serve as an umbrella organization for the three main components of the sector representing industry, community support partnerships, and infrastructure support. This group serves a primary role as a policy advisor to the Governor, other state agencies, the Legislature, and others in support of the military and defense sector in Washington.

Smart Buildings

A regional effort to develop a testing platform where inventors can demonstrate how their products work in real buildings and buyers can see what product will work best for them.
