PSRC selects projects to receive funding from the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Transit Administration. By federal law, these funds must be regionally selected and approved by PSRC. The criteria used to select projects are based on regional transportation, economic and land use policies adopted by the region’s elected leadership. All public agencies, jurisdictions and tribes are eligible to apply for funding.
