The region is making a voter approved $15 billion investment in regional rapid transit. Growing Transit Communities is designed to help make the most of this investment by locating housing, jobs, and services close enough to transit so that more people will have a faster and more convenient way to travel. Corridor Action Strategies will detail the actions and tools needed to make it easier to develop jobs and housing in areas associated with transit investments.

Growing Transit Communities is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant Program.
