Get Involved

The Puget Sound Regional Council's public participation plan encourages early and continuous involvement of citizens, jurisdictions, communities, and other interests in the planning process, and the decisions and actions of the Regional Council.

Our aim is to encourage informed and productive participation, recognizing that no major public policy decision is reached or large project implemented without significantly affecting someone. Effective public notification and participation takes time and effort, yet is essential to sound decision-making.

The Regional Council is organized in ways to encourage opportunities for the public to participate. Our Executive Board, Transportation Policy Board, and Growth Management Policy Board meet monthly.

The Regional Council is committed to ensuring that everyone is informed about and has an opportunity to participate in regional planning decisions, regardless of race, color, sex, or national origin (see Title VI Notice to Public for more information).

Regional VIEW, the Regional Council's monthly newsletter, is one good way to stay informed and involved. To receive a print copy of Regional VIEW, fill out this form, or call 206-464-7090.

All meeting notices and other important information are also available on our Web site, psrc.org.

Speakers are also available to talk to your chamber of commerce, community group or similar organization about regional transportation and growth planning. To schedule a speaker, contact Michele Leslie at 206-587-4819 or e-mail at mleslie@psrc.org.
