Through the Regional Council, the region's cities and counties work together to preserve and enhance quality of life in the central Puget Sound region. To find out more about our major activities, click on the links below.
VISION 2040
The region's shared vision of what we want for the future is reflected in this growth management, economic, and transportation strategy adopted by the region's cities and counties in 1995. Each year the Regional Council holds the VISION 2020 Awards program, which is designed to recognize the superb work being done by public and private organizations to achieve our region's growth and transportation strategy.
Destination 2030
The region's current long-range transportation plan outlines the future of regional road, transit, ferry, rail, and other systems through 2030. PSRC is currently developing a new long range plan for the region, see Transportation 2040 for more information.
Prosperity Partnership
Economic Strategy for the central Puget Sound region.
Regional Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
The region's short-range transportation improvement program ensures that transportation projects are coordinated and consistent with the region's Destination 2030 plan and meet clean air standards.
Air Quality
Assuring that the region meets or maintains the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS).

Enhancements (Transportation)
Program which funds 12 categories of projects including facilities for bicycles and pedestrians, scenic beautification, and landscaping.
Freight Mobility/FAST Corridor
A collaborative effort to serve the needs of rail, air, marine, and highway freight movements and their intermodal connections in the central Puget Sound region and Pacific Rim gateway.
Growth Strategies
Growth related projects to implement VISION 2020 and Destination 2030. These include the Transportation Concurrency Survey.
