Strategic Plan for Aviation

The Strategic Plan:

  • identifies the region's long range (30-year) aviation vision
  • describes and discusses the key aviation-related issues the region will need to address in the future
  • clarifies the Regional Council's mandate, authority, policy, and role in addressing these issues
  • clarifies our relationship to other agencies who are involved with key aviation issues
  • includes a multi-year work plan for the aviation program

    An Interagency Committee (including FAA, WSDOT, airport sponsors, city and county planners, pilots, and the military) has provided input in preparing the Strategic Plan.
