The Transportation Policy Board was briefed on the baseline information on two planning areas: Safety and Security and Transportation Access For All. This information will be used as a starting point in the update of Destination 2030.

The presentation described the effort to identify where and what types of transportation systems need the most improvements for safety and security, as well as the unique transportation needs of people who cannot depend on a private automobile for their mobility, and the challenges of providing these services.
