PSRC is currently updating the central Puget Sound region’s metropolitan transportation plan. The new plan, Transportation 2040, will guide transportation program investments out to the year 2040. PSRC staff is making presentations on six Transportation 2040 alternatives in cities throughout the region. These meetings are open to the public and are a good place to learn about Transportation 2040.

Transportation 2040 project staff are available to present to your council, chamber or community group. Presentations include a brief overview of the long-range transportation plan, demographic and travel data for the region, public comment we have received to date, and information about possible alternatives. Staff are also able to tailor presentations to specific requests given sufficient notice.
