Puget Sound Regional Council

The Regional TIP provides a list of current transportation projects in all four counties of the region—King, Kitsap, Pierce, and Snohomish. These projects are funded with federal, state and local funds, including the most recent federal grants awarded through PSRC. The TIP is required under federal and state legislation. It helps ensure that transportation projects in the region are meeting regional policies and federal and state requirements such as those under the Clean Air Act. The TIP is amended on a regular, routine basis, as discussed in our Amendments page.

Regional and local TIPs from across the state are compiled into the State TIP (STIP). The STIP is subject to FHWA and FTA approval.

The TIP’s Appendix A lists all the current projects, organized by county and then alphabetically by jurisdiction. Projects sponsored by WSDOT, tribal nations and multicounty agencies such as Sound Transit are listed after the counties.
