About the Regional Freight Mobility Roundtable

The Regional Freight Mobility Roundtable has been meeting for more than 20 years and continues to provide a unique and valuable opportunity to bring together public and private stakeholders at the same table.  The Roundtable is a forum, not a committee, and as such does not vote or take official positions on issues; however, issues that come forward in these discussions are frequently taken into direct consideration as plans and programs are implemented at the state, regional, and local level.  Private sector participants include rail, marine, air cargo and trucking carriers, and shippers. Public sector participants include local governments, the ports of Seattle, Tacoma and Everett, state agencies, and federal agencies within the U.S. Department of Transportation (including rail, highway, maritime) and the Department of Defense.
