Regional FTA Caucus (FTA)

The Regional FTA Caucus is a subcommittee to the Transportation Operators Committee (TOC) that recommends a program of Federal Transit Administration formula program funds for transit projects within the Seattle-Tacoma-Everett urbanized area.

The Caucus membership includes public transportation agencies providing transit services in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. The primary responsibility of the Regional FTA Caucus is to recommend a program of Federal Transit Administration urbanized formula program funds (also known as 5307 funds), and beginning in 2013, state of good repair formula funds (also known as 5337 funds) and bus and bus facilities formula funds (also known as 5339 funds) for transit projects within the Seattle-Tacoma-Everett urbanized area as part of a coordinated proposal to the Transportation Operators Committee (TOC). The final TOC recommendations are forwarded to the Transportation Policy Board, which makes recommendations to the Executive Board.
