Public Participation at Meetings

PSRC posts board agendas one week in advance of meetings. Meeting agendas can be found on PSRC’s website. Each agenda will provide information on how to view, listen, attend and provide public comment (in-person or via Zoom).

• As a public agency ensuring resident access to meetings of its governing body and advisory boards, PSRC does not check the vaccination status of visitors.
• Board members and staff have the option to participate in-person or remotely.
• PSRC offices are located at 1201 Third Avenue, Suite 500.
• PSRC staff will be in the lobby to provide floor access 30 minutes before and up to 15 minutes after the start of the meeting.
• We do not validate parking for members of the public.

PSRC has adopted expectations for public conduct when visiting PSRC's offices. Failure to comply with the rules of conduct may result in revocation of a person's permission to remain in PSRC's offices.

• Public comment must relate to an action or discussion item on the agenda.
• Each member of the public will have 2 minutes to speak.
• In-person Public comment may be made in person at PSRC’s office.
• Members of the public can register to provide public comment by Zoom or phone. To allow staff time to process requests, registration closes at 8:00 am the day of the meeting. Late registrations will not be accepted.
• Written comments may be submitted via email by 8:00 am the day of the meeting. Comments will be shared with board members. Comments received after the deadline will be provided to board members after the meeting.
• All public comment and testimony are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public Records Act, RCW Chapter 42.56. Any contact information you provide, including address, email address, and phone number, will be available to the public on PSRC's website.
