Other Federal and State Funding Programs

There are numerous federal and state funding programs available for transportation investments, for example through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (also referred to as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act or IIJA) which provides funding through 2026. Other federal legislation such as the Inflation Reduction Act passed in 2022 also provides opportunities for various types of investments.  In addition, numerous state funding programs are available, for example through the Climate Commitment Act and Move Ahead Washington, among others.

Information is provided below on relevant current state and federal grant programs.  Additional resources will be provided soon.
