Manufacturing Industrial Centers

FTA Federal Urban Area
This layer displays the federally designated urban boundary for FTA funds.
Freight Routes
This layer displays all T1 and T2 freight routes. T1 freight routes are those that carry more than 10 million tons per year. T2 freight routes are those that carry 4 to 10 million tons per year. More information on this can be found here: https://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Freight/EconCorridors.htm.
Air Quality Focus Communities
This layer displays the Air Quality Focus Communities with the top 10% of Community Air Tool (CAT 2.0) scores, as identified by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency. More information on this can be found here: http://dl.pscleanair.org/CAT/Community%20Air%20Tool%20Metadata.pdf.
Opportunity Index
This layer is a composite measure of five key elements of neighborhood opportunity at the census tract level: Education, Economic Health, Housing and Neighborhood Quality, Mobility and Transportation, and Health and Environment. Seniors Population
This layer displays elderly populations as a percent of total population in each census tract. Elderly is defined as 65 years of age and older. More information on this can be found here: https://www.psrc.org/sites/default/files/demographicprofile.pdf.
