Duvall-Monroe Shuttle service begins!

New rural service to fill gap

The new service, which debuted August 1, provides a public transportation connection in a rural area between Duvall and Monroe where direct public transit service did not previously exist.

PSRC helped to bring about this service by providing Hopelink’s King County Mobility Management project with $26,471 in special needs funding for a comprehensive transportation needs assessment for special needs populations in the Snoqualmie Valley.

The service concept was identified in the assessment and developed as the result of a grant provided by Easterseals Project Action and the formation of a Snoqualmie Valley Mobility Coalition.

The shuttle is open to anyone and the suggested donation is $1. People with special needs can request a specific pick up or drop off outside of the established route.
