Ed Prince named Growth Management Policy Board Vice-Chair

Renton Councilmember is former Chair of Planning Commission

Renton Councilmember Ed Prince has been appointed Vice Chair of the Growth Management Policy Board.

Councilmember Prince is the Executive Director of the Washington State Commission on African American Affairs and previously worked for the Washington State House of Representatives.

He is a former chair of the City of Renton Planning Commission, past chair of the Renton School District Bond and Levy campaign and a founding director of the Renton Community Foundation's "The Next Curve."

His belief that the strength of government comes from collaboration has led to extensive involvement on regional boards and committees, including the Growth Management Planning Council, SCA Legislative Committee and the Regional Transit Committte. 

He also serves as a member of the Central Puget Sound Economic Development District Board and as an alternate on PSRC’s Executive Board.
