Downtown Seattle
Next year's Economic Development District focus areas and legislative priorities will be the main topic of discussion at the upcoming Central Puget Sound Economic Development District Board meeting.
Every year the board approves a set of focus areas to use as a work plan to guide efforts to implement the region’s economic strategy over the upcoming year. This may include aviation, automated vehicles, CARES Act funding, housing and commercial space, and workforce development for 2021. Draft legislative prioirties include funding, financing tools, and broadband infrastructure.
The board will also be briefed on PSRC's plans to develop a Regional Equity Strategy and establish an Equity Advisory Committee.
