A conversation with University of Washington President Ana Mari Cauce will be the highlight of the Executive Board meeting on April 25. 

President Cauce will share what is happening at the UW’s Bellevue, Bothell, Seattle and Tacoma campuses of one of the world’s best public universities.

The UW’s mission is to advance four key areas: providing a leading-edge student experience, conducting research and scholarship that has a global impact, upholding the UW’s dedication to its public mission and infusing the entire university with a commitment to innovation.

The Executive Board will also hear about Arlington-Marysville’s Manufacturing/Industrial Center Designation Application and decide on a number of action items, including approval of Poulsbo Mayor Becky Erickson as the new Chair of the Transportation Policy Board, the Regional Transportation Plan project status of Kitsap Transit’s Passenger-Only Ferry project and an interchange in Sumner.

The board will welcome the town of Wilkeson, as a new member.
