Immediate grants to serve people who are homeless

In partnership with Kaiser Permanente, the National Health Care for the Homeless Council will accept grant applications for unrestricted funding to 501c3 organizations in Washington, Hawaii, Oregon, California, Colorado, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia and the District of Columbia.

The grants aim to meet the health needs of people experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic. Unrestricted grants will generally range from $25,000 - $50,000. Organizations may submit one application only. 

Applications are to be submitted electronically no later than 5 p.m. CT on Monday, March 30. 

The National Health Care for the Homeless Council will email grant notifications to a designated contact by 5 p.m. PT on April 8. Checks will be mailed Friday, April 10.

Only non-governmental related entities (501c3 organizations) meeting the health needs of people experiencing homelessness are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to organizations receiving 330H funding and medical respite care programs.
