Parking and Housing Affordability

Extended peer networking session at 12th Avenue Arts

Housing affordability and parking availability are two of the most vexing problems for cities and towns across the region.

Looking towards 2050, how can we find opportunities to reimagine parking planning as a way to enhance communities, improve livability and lower costs?

PSRC is pleased to offer an extended session on the topic of Parking & Housing Affordability at 12th Avenue Arts on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm.

This work session will take a “deep dive” into this complex topic, with a three-hour session that includes an overview of issues and opportunities related to on- and off-street parking and case studies of innovative and successful parking strategies and programs, as well as walking tours to showcase innovative parking planning in action in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.

Please RSVP online and bring your own lunch if you are planning to attend. We have limited space and cannot guarantee attendance without an RSVP. There is no webinar option for this session.

An agenda will be available soon.
