PSRC provided $7.8 million for trail projects in Bellevue

Regional leaders celebrate the completion of the latest Mountains to Sound Greenway Trail segment in Bellevue
New segments of the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trail have opened in Bellevue.
The trail is part of the Mountains to Sound Greenway National Heritage Area, which is dedicated to conservation along Interstate 90 from Seattle to Ellensburg.
The most recently completed part of the trail runs parallel to Interstate 90 from 132nd Avenue Southeast to 142nd Place Southeast and greatly improves bicycle and pedestrian connections in Bellevue’s Factoria neighborhood.
This joins up with a segment finished in early 2021 from I-405 to 132nd Avenue Southeast.
The two segments complete a 1.2-mile section of the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trail fills a significant portion of the overall 3.6-mile trail gap that runs east-west through Bellevue.
PSRC has awarded a total of $7,826,000 in funding for the entire Mountains to Sound Greenway Trail corridor in Bellevue.
