Redmond Downtown Link Light Rail Extension

Headed towards approval by Transportation Policy Board

The Downtown Redmond Link Light Rail Extension is part of the Regional Transportation Plan and is seeking approved status from the Transportation Policy Board.

The project adds two new light rail stations in southeast Redmond, serving Marymoor Village near Marymoor Park, and in the downtown residential and retail core. It is planned to open in 2024.

The board will review the project and make a recommendation at its meeting on October 10.

A similar action is planned for the King County Foothills Trail and White River Bridge Project.

The board will also discuss SR 99 Tolling, the Seattle Squeeze and PSRC’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Program.
