Scott Bader named Growth Management Policy Board Chair

Everett City Councilmember active in local community

Everett City Councilmember Scott Bader has been appointed as the new Chair of the Growth Management Policy Board.

Scott Bader"I’m looking forward to continuing the great work of the Growth Management Policy Board as we move toward implementation of VISION 2050,” said Councilmember Bader.  

Councilmember Bader was civically active for 20 years before joining Everett City Council. In addition to a law practice, he works at the Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle helping parishes with fundraising and financial management and was a member of the Mukilteo School Board.

A Pacific Northwest native, Bader was elected to Everett City Council in 2012 and has been the city's representative on the PSRC Growth Management Board since early 2013.  

As Chair, Bader will oversee the development of a Regional Housing Strategy and implementation of the Regional Centers Framework.
