Regional Growth Centers

Manufacturing Industrial Centers

Urban Growth Area
This layer displays the designated urban growth boundary based upon the State Growth Management Act. More information on this can be found here:

FHWA Federal Urban Area

Freight Routes
This layer displays all T1 and T2 freight routes. T1 freight routes are those that carry more than 10 million tons per year. T2 freight routes are those that carry 4 to 10 million tons per year. More information on this can be found here:

Air Quality Focus Communities
This layer displays the Air Quality Focus Communities with the top 10% of Community Air Tool (CAT 2.0) scores, as identified by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency. More information on this can be found here:

Opportunity Index
This layer is a composite measure of five key elements of neighborhood opportunity at the census tract level: Education, Economic Health, Housing and Neighborhood Quality, Mobility and Transportation, and Health and Environment. More information on the Opportunity Index can be found here:

People of Color Tracts
This layer displays the spatial distributions of census tracts with percent share of people of color above the regional average.
People with Low Incomes Tracts
This layer displays the spatial distributions of census tracts with percent share of people with low incomes (with incomes less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level) above the regional average.
People with Disabilities Tracts
This layer displays the spatial distributions of census tracts with percent share of people with disabilities above the regional average.
Older Adults Tracts (age 65+)
This layer displays the spatial distributions of census tracts with percent share of older adults (age 65+) above the regional average.
Youth Tracts (age 5-17)
This layer displays the spatial distributions of census tracts with percent share of youth (age 5-17) above the regional average.
People with LImited English Proficiency Tracts
This layer displays the spatial distributions of census tracts with percent share of people with limited English proficiency above the regional average.
