Join a Public Meeting: Improve Roadway Safety in the Region

Traffic-related deaths in the central Puget Sound region have almost doubled since 2010, reaching nearly one death every day.

Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) is taking action to improve roadway safety by developing a Regional Safety Action Plan. Following the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Systems Approach, the plan will focus on  safer people, safer vehicles, safer roads and better post-crash care.

We need your input! PSRC is hosting several community meetings to engage community members in the creation of the Regional Safety Action Plan. Each event will have food, entertainment and interactive ways to give your input on traffic safety needs in your area.
