Legislators had to grapple with how to address a $12-$16 billion operating budget deficit over 4 years and a $8 billion deficit in the transportation budget over 6 years.

Under the adopted transportation budget, major projects under contract will continue and investments were made in ferry improvements, fish barrier removal, safety, complete streets, transit, electrification and more. We’ve identified some highlights.
The Governor is reviewing all budgets – he has until May 20 to sign or veto all or portions of the budget and revenue bills that passed the Legislature.
