PSRC has accomplished so much this past year!

Our annual report spanning April 2022- May 2023 highlights major activities and accomplishments from our past year of work.

Accomplishments include:

  • The National Association of Regional Councils recognized PSRC for its work in developing a Regional Equity Strategy and Equity Advisory Committee.
  • PSRC adopted recommendations to the legislature on transportation, housing, climate, and economic development.
  • PSRC received nearly $4.9 million in Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant to support development of the Regional Safety Plan.
  • Partnering with the Washington State Department of Commerce, PSRC hosted the Americas Competitiveness Exchange International Delegation.
  • PSRC’s Data Science Team placed first in a national hackathon competition to map commute mode data for the Puget Sound region.
  • PSRC launched a new accessible and inclusive website that improved navigation, streamlined meeting information, and additional outreach and engagement tools.

We have achieved so much in the past year due to the hard work of our leadership, staff, the region’s elected officials, and member jurisdictions to create an equitable and affordable central Puget Sound. Thank you all; your contributions make up our collective success.
