TOOLBOX: Planning for People and Amenities in Transit-Oriented Communities

Building a sense of place and community are critical aspects of developing successful transit-oriented neighborhoods. Downtowns, mixed use centers, and transit station areas should be holistic communities that promote social connection, provide civic spaces, and draw in locals and visitors alike. In this webinar, presenters highlighted work to plan for parks and the public realm, arts and culture, and activate neighborhoods to support people-oriented spaces near transit.
