About
The Equity Advisory Committee (EAC) works with agency staff and the Executive Board to co-create products as part of the Regional Equity Strategy, as well as advise PSRC boards and committees on policies and programs using an equity lens.
Responsibilities of Equity Advisory Committee members include:
- Actively participating in meetings, sharing their unique lived experiences, perspectives, and expertise.
- Spending approximately two hours preparing for and providing follow-up for each committee meeting, such as reviewing materials, conducting outreach to community members and/or colleagues as needed, and communicating with PSRC staff.
- Collaborating with PSRC staff to improve engagement with Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and other marginalized communities to help shape policies, products, and plans.
