SEATTLE – The Puget Sound Regional Council has been working with its Equity Advisory Committee to advance racial equity in its transportation funding programs. This has included a review of PSRC’s project selection process and development of an equity pilot program to distribute approximately $6 million of its 2025-2026 Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) funds.
PSRC is seeking public comment on the transportation projects recommended to receive funding through this new program. The public comment period will run from December 14 to January 3. PSRC's Transportation Policy Board will review the projects on January 11 and the Executive Board is scheduled to approve these projects on January 25.
