PSRC undergoes a joint review by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) every four years to ensure that our work is meeting all federal laws and requirements. PSRC must be certified by this review to keep distributing federal funds to the region.
The federal review team would like to hear from the public about your experiences with PSRC and its planning work ahead of its July 7 evaluation.
Please consider the following:
- Your experience navigating PSRC's website
- Your experience with PSRC's planning processes
- Your experience receiving notifications about PSRC's planning processes
- Your opportunity to comment on PSRC's planning documents and PSRC's responsiveness to your comments
- Your ability to access PSRC's meetings and documents to meet your specific accessibility needs, including physical and language requirements

Planning products that will be evaluated in the review:
- Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP): PSRC's budget and work program
- Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP): PSRC's long-range regional transportation plan through 2050, including federally required elements such as the Congestion Management Process
- Transportation Improvement Program (TIP): PSRC's list of transportation projects underway across the region over the next four years using federal, state and local funds
- Public Participation Plan (PPP): PSRC's plan for public outreach and engagement on regional planning activities
