Help Shape the Future of Open Spaces

Trails, parks, forests, farms and other open spaces help make the Puget Sound region a wonderful place to live, work and explore. PSRC works with cities, counties, Tribes, resource agencies, and community partners to protect and enhance these places.

The Regional Open Space Conservation Plan guides efforts to conserve the region’s network of open spaces and identifies actions needed to sustain them for future generations. PSRC is currently updating the plan to assess progress toward regional goals and identify new opportunities for conservation, stewardship, and public access. An advisory committee has been created to guide the plan’s development.

We need your help!

Our region’s residents play an important role in shaping the Regional Open Space Conservation Plan, and we invite you to share your voice.

Share Your Thoughts at a Community Event

Love talking about open spaces? We do, too! PSRC staff will be tabling at eight community events across the region. Stop by and say, “Hello!” We’ll have our favorite map of the region’s open space network, stickers, and coloring sheets and crayons for the kids.
