Economic Board to release draft economic strategy

The Central Puget Sound Economic Development District Board plans to authorize staff to develop a draft Regional Economic Strategy at its meeting on October 6. The draft strategy is expected to be released for a 30-day public comment period in mid-October.

The Regional Economic Strategy will lay out the blueprint for the region’s economic recovery and resiliency efforts. It will identify broad strategies and detailed implementation actions. These implementation actions represent both existing and future efforts, to be accomplished by the Economic Development District and various regional partners.

In addition, the board will be updated on the workforce recovery planning project.
