The Puget Sound Regional Council offers internships in different focus areas throughout the agency.

Internships are available to current high school, undergraduate and graduate students and to emerging professionals.  Interns will have the opportunity to develop professional skills with valuable hands-on, real-world experiences at PSRC.

PSRC serves as the regional planning organization for the four-county central Puget Sound region and develops policies and makes decisions about transportation, growth management and economic development.

  • Summer internships offer a deep dive into an area of interest. Interns will focus on a project for approximately three months and typically work 4 to 5 days per week. Summer internships will be posted in late winter.
  • Summer high school internships will be posted in late spring as opportunities arise.
  • Year-long internships offer a greater variety of work over a 12-month period. Interns typically work 2 days per week. Year-long internships will be posted in September.
