Planned capacity at the region's airports

Preliminary analysis of planned capacity at the region’s airports and how it compares to the 2050 forecasts released last spring will be the main topic of discussion at the upcoming Executive Board meeting.

The board will also receive a briefing on how the region’s airspace is used by different aviation sectors, with a discussion of current and future issues and possible constraints.

This briefing is part of the Regional Aviation Baseline Study the Executive Board is leading to better understand the region’s aviation system and options for meeting growing demand. Results from the study will form the technical foundation for future decisions by regional and state leaders.  A final report is due out in fall 2020.

The board will also take action on the Regional Transportation Plan status of the Downtown Redmond Link Light Rail Extension and the King County Foothills Trail and White River Bridge Project.
