Every four years, Metropolitan Planning Organizations like Puget Sound Regional Council undergo a federal review to keep federal transportation funding flowing to the region.
In July, the Federal Transit Administration and the Federal Highway will review the work of the PSRC to ensure the agency is meeting all federal standards and requirements.
The FTA and the FHWA are soliciting public feedback and comments on PSRC’s work in transportation through July 30, 2018.
Examples of things that will be reviewed include the topics below:
- Working with PSRC’s member agencies
- Transportation planning
- Transportation improvement programs
- Traffic management
- Transportation data
- Travel forecasting
- Pedestrian, bicycle, and transit
