A healthy and functional transportation system is one where people and goods can move around with ease. To better understand our present and plan for the future, PSRC has performed an analysis of both the current and planned future transportation systems, from the maintenance and preservation of our roadways and bridges, to traffic safety, and transit and ferry service.
The Current Transportation System
The Current Transportation System Report describes each element of the region's current transportation system, including an inventory of available facilities and services, key data and trends, and, where applicable, a high-level summary of identified system gaps. These gaps stem from the disconnect between where people and jobs are located today compared to existing facilities and services. This analysis provides the foundation for the 2026 Regional Transportation Plan and future planned system investments.

The Future Transportation System
The Future Transportation System Report describes each element of the region's proposed future transportation system, including planned investments, key data and trends, and, where applicable, a high-level summary of identified system gaps. These gaps stem from the disconnect between where people and jobs are located in the future compared to the planned future transportation system.
