The Economic Development Board meeting on October 3 will feature Brian McGowan, the new CEO of Greater Seattle Partners.
Mr. McGowan will share plans for the organization, which aims to advance the economic competitiveness of the Puget Sound region.
GSP is supported by companies including Boeing, Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, Microsoft, Starbucks and Alaska Airlines, and county executives, mayors and port commissioners from Snohomish, King and Pierce counties.
Prior to joining Greater Seattle Partners, Mr. McGowan was President and CEO of Atlanta Beltline, a $5 billion economic development and transportation initiative in Atlanta, Georgia.

- A briefing on the economic development program at PSRC
- An update on current work to implement Amazing Place, the regional economic strategy
- Washington State Space Economy report
